This release includes the Part Requirements feature that was demonstrated at Formnext. We also made important additions to our Agile MES with the inclusion of dedicated Time Zones per Service and Custom Production Sheet Designs. The minor features and improvements include the addition of Platform Announcements, fixes for IE11 and adding Swiss Franc (CHF) to the list of supported currencies. 

New Features

[Agile ERP] Part Requirements

It is now possible for production engineers to obtain a more complete set of production data when customers are ordering using the Parts Requirements. This feature enables Printing Services to define additional information about parts to define the production requirements upfront to minimize delays waiting for the customer to provide that information later in the process.

Current types of fields supported to ask for part requirements are:

• Single Option (as a drop-down or as radio buttons)
• Multiple Choice (as drop-down)
• Text (string, plain)
• Date Selection
• True/False switches (Boolean)
• Numeric Input (integer, float)

Part Requirements are always accessible both from User and Service Panels, and are included in the CSV Export of orders from the service panel.

[Agile MES] Set Time Zone per Service Location

Production Planners can set the time zone of each production location independently. This is an essential for scheduling parts at the right time while working in international teams and distributed manufacturing.

[Agile MES] Customize Production Sheets to your Service

Each services (or service location) can customize their Production Sheet Design to support their specific workflows. Multiple production documents templates can also be created so that production data from the Agile MES and groups of parts can be specific to each point in the production process. (i.e. 3D Printing, Post-processing, Quality Assurance)

Platform Announcements

We added a way to show announcements on your platform. In the admin panel you can configure the title and content of an announcement that then gets shown to the customers on a 24-hour basis from now until you decide to take it down again. 

Reference Number field label can be changed now

When placing an order, each service was able to request additional information during check-out as a fixed field called Reference Number. Several of our customers have been adapting the field to collect other information so we adjusted the title to make it customizable and wether it is required or optional.

Examples of uses for this field are customer number, department name, department ID or employee number.
