Placing Orders with the API

This release comes with the API v2 Documentation.
The documentation is available with the following URL:

API v2 supports all the functionalities of the API v1.
Additionally, orders can now be placed.




3D Projects (old User Panel) → Recent basket (new User Panel)

The 3D Projects in the old user panel are also now available in the new user panel.
Until now, switching on the new basket made the list of historic 3D Projects inaccessible. This is not the case anymore.


Since the new basket gets more and more stable, we can recommend to switch to the new basket.

The new Basket is usable, but does not contain all features from the old Userpanel yet:

  • It is not possible to access 3D Projects which were created in the old User panel
  • It is not possible to share 3D Projects with arbitrary users via E-Mail
  • Printing Quotations

If your Users need one of the functionalities above, please do not activate the new basket yet.
We currently work on making all those functionalities also available in the new Basket.

Other Notable changes and Bugfixes 

  • The platform is now completely translated to French. Also, long words are fitting better into the design.
  • [New User Panel] Order Detail Page is redesigned. The comments are now on the bottom of the page. Attachments are accessible.
  • [New Basket] - The Minimum Order Price is now shown when selecting a printing service
  • [New Basket] - Big uploads now work better. Also upload errors are not showing infinite loading anymore.
  • [New Basket] - Requesting a price will now trigger E-Mail notification
  • [New Basket] - Project name is now included in request overview
  • [Webhook] - WebhookSerialization does not fail for pickup locations
  • [Service Panel] - CSV export does work again - also when selecting filters. Also, CSV exports first comments again.
  • [User Panel] - When entering an address the auto-complete for the country is now disabled since it caused problems creating an address
  • [New User Panel] - Reordering is working again
  • [User Panel] - Error messages on order creation have been improved
  • [US Sales Tax] - The entered state can now be the full name instead just the 2-letter code

Under the Hood

  • We are using now structlogger. That improves the quality of our log messages.
