3.13.0

October, 9th 2019 - This release has some really exciting updates on the Digital Inventory, better workflows in the Agile MES and Machine Connectivity.

[Agile MES] Multiple Printers per Workflow

We took the next step in improving the Agile MES and you are now able to assign multiple workflows to a single workflow. Until now the approach was to have workflows per workstation but we aimed to also support more general workflows that are also representing a whole technology and therefore a group of printers. Assigning a part with this multiple printer workflow makes it selectable for multiple machines in the scheduling section.
With 3.13 it is possible to either add multiple workstations to a workflow but this change is also compatible with pre-existing workflows so they are editable. To do that you have to:

 1. Go to Service Panel Settings
 2. Select the Workflow Section
 3. Select an already existing workflow or create a new one
 4. The field for adding a workstation allows you to select now more than one

[Agile MES] Part Status Filter

We made working with the part list easier especially for handovers between coordinators and transfers from the 3D Projects to the Parts List. It is now possible to filter the whole list by the workflow status the part is currently in that means every assignee can look for parts that are in a status that falls into his responsibility. In action, it looks like this:

[Agile MES] Show Machine Job

With the 3YOURMIND machine connectivity, printers on the shop floor send real-time data to the Agile MES. This data is automatically updated in the schedule and can be viewed as a machine job.

Why is the Machine job so important?

  • Operators can see when the print is actually going to be finished digitally without being on the shop floor.
  • Production Planners can compare the scheduled MES job  (dark blue) to the actual machine job (light blue) in the schedule.

[Agile PLM] Digital Inventory MVP

With the Digital Inventory, we offer our customers to create an inventory of 3D printable parts that can easily be (re-)ordered using a pre-set configuration of material, post-processing(s) and service. Thus, for each item in the inventory the following parameters will be set and pre-defined:

  • 3d file
  • material
  • post-processings
  • service

This feature helps user who need to order the same set of spare parts with the same configuration over and over again. It also ensures, that parts once qualified and configured with material and post-processing(s) are easily made public within the organization.

User Roles

Every user in the organization can order from existing inventory item(s). Material and Post-Processings are already defined for her/him. The Inventory Contributor maintains the digital inventory and can create, update and delete items in the inventory.

Quick Search - description field

Each item can be additionally described in its description field by the inventory contributor. With the search bar, you can quickly find any keywords/categorization in the description field.

Other notable changes and fixes:

[BE] Webhook calls are now asynchronous
[BE] Emails are now getting sent out separately to service panel workers
[Agile MES] Long Part names no longer cause overwriting of Table in Part Production sheet
[Agile MES] On occasion parts were duplicated if post-processings with the same name were selected. This is no longer the case
[Admin Panel] Orders can be deleted even if there are already existing sequences tied to a part in this order
