Welcome to the version 1.5.0-rc6 release of the 3D Marketplace Application of 3YOURMIND.

In this version we focused on internal bugs in the software so the release log is not too long. We also focussed on the integration of our platform to Microsoft SQL server.

During this time we had 52 issues. Of those we had:

  • 21 bugs
  • 21 improvements and features
  • 10 overall tasks

Support structure - Support structure is enabled by default

Cloning 3D Projects - Cloning a 3D Project as a collaborator is now possible

Tax rate - Tax rates with five decimal places are now possible

Performance improvements - 📈 Parallelization of STL file mesh repair, speeds up the process by 1.2x to ~2.5x

Support structure

After several discussions and a testing phase of more than a year we decided to enable support structure by default. But this will not be a problem since if no support structure formula is given this support structure will not impact the application.

Cloning 3D Projects

Before it was not possible to clone a 3D project as a collaborator. Now it is possible and all project specific data like comments, part attachments are cleared.

Tax rate

After many customers requested improved tax rates with increased decimal places we decided to increase this number to five decimal places which should cover almost all use cases.

This feature is working in the old and new service configuration panel.

Performance Improvements

Speed up the performance of mesh repair by applying algorithms parallel when possible.

This speeds up the process by factor ~1.2 to ~2.5.

Other notable changes

  • Fixed that big price formulas prohibited loading in price comparison view
  • Make some fields for products in admin panel optional
  • The language of the order’s user is shown in the new partner service configuration panel
  • Status email of projects changed text-wise
  • Changing the status code for unauthorized requests so no login popup is shown in the new service configuration panel
  • Show missing option for manual priced projects in new service configuration panel
  • Improve behavior of search input in new service configuration panel for 3D Project filtering
  • Add tooltips to price formula wizard in new service configuration panel for better usage of the wizard
  • Improve translations in new service configuration panel → German translations are starting really soon
  • Fix overlapping of loading component in new service configuration panel
  • Better error handling when handling files from amazon s3 for Spring backend
  • Integration of runtime configuration for new frontend
