4.1.0 is here! With this release, we are introducing a feature that gives you more possibilities to manage your users. Thanks to that you will be able to change their region settings, e-mail address, and other user information. Check out the entire Release Note to learn more about the latest updates on our platform. Also, great news for our Spanish speaking customers as our platform is now fully available in Spanish as well.

 

[ERP] - Show related objects

In the user panel, you will be able to easily keep track of which Sales Transactions come from or result in which other Sales Transactions. These links can also be used to navigate through the history of an order, request or quote.

 

[ERP] - Customizable Address fields

You will have more freedom in creating custom fields for the form users put their addresses in. That means you will have additional fields that you can change the label of as well as whether it is required, optional, or even hidden if you don’t need additional information.

 

[ERP] - Add Preferred delivery date option "required"

In 3.18 we introduced a small addition to the order input which allows the customer to specify his preferred delivery date. Since we got a lot of good feedback regarding that we also introduced the option to further specify this field in terms of it being hidden, optional or required. In addition, the due date is now visible as well, not just on an order level, but also in requests & quotes.

[ERP] - Remove the "calculate all button" for orientation optimization

Orientation optimization requires a special calculation to get a price for you and when you had multiple materials that all had this feature enabled we had an option to make it calculate for all those materials. This took time and required quite some resources. Until we refined this further we will disable this feature to ensure smooth calculation processes.

[ERP] - Custom script fields payment methods

For payment method, you can now insert a custom script, so to have the ultimate flexibility in defining the information you would like to receive from users placing an order. Through this custom script implementation, you can ask for e.g. department or cost center number, even limiting the selection through a connection with your API.

[ERP] - inch/mm choice more prominent

Customer feedback indicated that the inch/mm switch is often overlooked. This leads to users having a lot of problems submitting a successful request or order. The inch/mm switch button is now much more prominent.

 

[MES] - Implement machine events in MES

Events read directly from machines via connectivity are now forwarded to the MES without any additional parsing in order to provide you with the actual event information received from the machine.

[MES] - Drop Restriction for starting jobs

We reacted to the feedback that restricting the Start of a job because not all parts are in the correct workflow step does not match the way users use the software. The restriction is now dropped and jobs can be started regardless of the parts step, leaving only the tooltip informing you if there are parts that are not in the step assigned to this job.

[ORG] - Editable Users in User Management

We wanted to give you more power in the User Management and took the next step into this direction. In 4.1 we introduce a feature that lets you quickly invite new users just by clicking a button and filling in the necessary information as well as a bigger feature that will allow you to see all the user profiles of your customers. You will be able to change the region settings, add new addresses, select default addresses and even change the email address.

 

 

[ORG] - Add sign update and state as a column in user management

To make it easier to spot newly signed up users we added a column that reads “Date joined“ and you can filter by it. This will help also in the verification process as you no longer have to manually search for the user that signed up.
We also added “State“ as we found that this would help in big countries to easier divide where your customers mainly order or sign up from.

[ADM] - Get rid of Admin Panel Sections

We had a lot of sections in the Admin Panel that were no longer in use and sometimes confusing to work with so we removed them to make it easier for new people to work with it and understand where everything is situated.

[ADM] - Ability to alter custom payment method inputs in the admin panel

We saw an increase in the usage of custom payment methods and that also brings new requests for improvement. If a customer used one of your custom payment methods in the checkout and filled in forms incorrectly you are now able to change his input inside the admin panel. The change goes so far that even the CSV export will show your edited value and not the original input anymore.

[MISC] - Add the Spanish language in CrowdIn

We added Spanish as a selectable language in the user profile and you can use the entire software now in Spanish.

 

[MISC] - Access to Documentation via customer portal now possible

We also created access to the documentation via the Customer Portal. Whether you want to research a topic or report on an issue but want to make sure it is actually a bug and not for example a misconfiguration you can now do this there before creating a ticket. Bug

  • [MES] - Thumbnails in Parts List are no longer squashed

  • [MES] - Scheduled Filter "Partial" working again

  • [MES] - Can again scrap started or finished jobs

  • [MES] - Predicted finish time and estimated time remaining shown again in workstation drawer

  • [MES] - Fixed Delay/Earliness display for Detected Jobs in scheduler workstation drawer

  • [ERP] - Part requirement information gets exported correctly in the CSV

  • [ERP] - Printability warning is no longer cut off by the `open viewer` button

  • [ERP] - The link in the "status update" email works again

  • [ERP] - The order number in the email matches again the order number in UP and SP

  • [ERP] - The option “Same as Shipping address“ in the checkout is now again correctly positioned and therefore better visible

  • [ERP] - Correct currency is shown in the Minimum Order amount definition

  • [ERP] - Placing an order is blocked until everything is saved correctly to avoid errors in checkout
