4.10 - 2021.07.21

This release is packed with a number of significant improvements across all of our products. New filters and filter functionalities are available in the PLM. For the ERP we are now enabling Service Panel users to create and Edit Quotes. And for the MES we can now show a Change history.

Jump quickly to different sections

PLM

Quick Search

You are now able to search and locate parts quickly with a single input field. Quick Search finds matching parts across all the text-based input properties, such as

  • Part name

  • Description

  • Short ID

  • Author

  • All custom properties of type Text

Bookmark Filters

You can now bookmark your most frequent part list filters in the browser because we made the filter query part of the URL. This saves you time and adds convenience when switching between different filter settings frequently.

We have given our filters a modern design They now also use less screen space so you can see more of the part list.

Change Part Author in Admin Panel

Admin panel users are now able to change a part’s author to any existing user. The newly assigned part author will receive status notification e-mails. The previous author will not receive notification e-mails anymore, nor will she have access to the part - unless she is also an AMPI Expert and can see all parts.

This functionality allows complying with data protection laws that require a detaching of part information and original author information.

Increase Speed of CSV Export

We have made the CSV export significantly faster. This is noticeable especially for large datasets where a time reduction of >95% was achieved.

E.g. 70’000 parts can now be exported in less than two minutes.

ERP

Create & Edit Quotes in Service Panel

Starting with version 4.10 it is now possible to create and edit Quotes in the Service Panel the same way Orders can be created and edited:

Improved order documents

We added part requirements and the estimated delivery time to the order doc templates.

MES

Part history

Starting with version 4.10 part updates performed by users of the platform are automatically tracked and displayed in a part history. This functionality will be extended to cover sequence group updates soon.

Assignees for jobs

We added the assignee functionality to jobs, it is now possible to assign people to jobs and see the job assignees in the job list and job detail.

Promote specific part quantity to next step

On the part detail page, it is now possible to select a specific sequence group and move it to the next step manually. We also added the option to change the quantity for the step promotion.

General improvements

  • Canadian Dollar (CAD) was added to the platform

  • We changed the material option in the file naming format to refer to the slug that is set in the admin panel instead of the general material title.

  • Uploading 3D files via drag and drop was added to the internal ordering form.

Bug fixes

  • [PLM] Editing a helper function in the admin panel does now trigger the formula recalculation banner as expected.

  • [PLM] Filter settings were forgotten when navigating away from the part list. They are now remembered again and persist while navigating through the software.

  • [ERP] A bug was fixed where canceled orders were counted as revenue for the ERP dashboard.

  • [ERP] A bug was fixed that prevented the ERP dashboard from automatically refreshing.

  • [ERP] A bug was fixed which caused discounts to not be properly displayed on PDFs.

  • [ERP] Redirection to the platform from automated emails was broken, this is now fixed.

  • [ERP] A bug was fixed where changing the service time zone did not have any effect.

  • [MES] A bug was fixed that caused the Show finished parts filter of the part list to not filter finished parts properly.

  • [ERP] A bug was fixed that caused post-processings to be listed multiple times on order detail view.
