3.11.0

August, 15th 2019 - This release includes a big update on Post-Processing worklists in the Agile MES

[Agile MES] Dynamic Worklists (BETA)

Worklists are used to display and track the production and post-processing activities and steps on your shop floor. The Agile MES will automatically generate a Dynamic Worklist for each station that requires post-processing. Since each part can have an individual workflow and set of requirements after printing, the worklists are essential to track the individual progress, the production steps and ensure an audit trail for each part.

Key Functionalities

Automatically Adjusting Worklists

Every time a Job is moved, added or rescheduled the Agile MES will automatically reschedule the part worklists based on the available capacity in your production schedule. In this beta release your parts are adjusted based on first-in-first-out. The full release will optimize your production schedule based on the target delivery date for each part.

It is now also possible to scrap or delete Jobs which will remove all the planned Worklists related to the job.

Changing the Workload Capacity within a Worklist

By clicking on a worklist, processing operators can view all parts that are scheduled to be processed on a workstation each day. This workload can be changed by manually removing or adding parts to the worklist.

  • Operators/Engineers should remove parts if the workload includes more parts than they can process in a day.
  • Operators should add parts if they want to prioritize parts from other future worklists or know that they can handle more parts in a single day.

After adjusting the part workload the worklist can be confirmed and the parts will be marked as ready to be processed.

Tracking and Documenting Progress using Worklists

Operators and engineers can document all progress on the worklist as they process parts. The Agile MES automatically tracks when a part arrived at a workstation so that you can compare the planned arrival and the actual arrival time of a part. A part can be set to the following statuses:

  • In Progress: The processing of a part has started
  • Complete: The processing of a part is successfully completed. The part is automatically marked as arrived in the following workstation’s worklist.
  • Moved to next day: The processing of the part has not started and the part is rescheduled for the next day.
  • Scrapped: During the processing, the part was damaged and needs to be reprinted. A new part sequence is automatically created to be scheduled for production.
