New Standalone Part Detail View

We're excited to unveil a new standalone part detail view for Catalog parts, enhancing visibility and usability. This update transforms how users interact with and share detailed information about individual parts.

Enhancements include:

  • Standalone View with Unique URL: Each Catalog part now benefits from its own dedicated page with a unique URL, making it easier to share specific part details externally or within teams.

  • Expanded Viewing Space: Moving away from the previous side drawer, the new standalone page provides more space, allowing for detailed analysis and easier navigation.

  • Integrated 3D Viewer: For parts with 3D files, an embedded 3D viewer is now available directly within the detail view, offering a dynamic and interactive way to examine parts from every angle.

  • Enhanced Media Capabilities: The ability to display image and photo attachments directly within the viewer has been introduced, ensuring that all visual resources are accessible in one place.

New Dedicated Form for Creating and Editing Catalog Parts

We are thrilled to introduce a new, dedicated form for creating and editing Catalog parts, designed to streamline and enhance the management of part configurations in our system. This significant upgrade simplifies the process of adding and modifying Catalog parts, ensuring a more efficient workflow compared to the previous method of using the basket.

Key Features of the New Form:

  • Comprehensive Configuration Options: Users can now configure all aspects of a Catalog part directly through the form. This includes uploading 3D files, adding detailed and short descriptions, reference numbers, and various attachments.

  • Advanced Production Recipe Setup: The form allows for precise configuration of production recipes, including the selection of technology, materials, and post-processing steps. It links to our full material database, with an added convenience feature to display only those materials offered by you and your connected suppliers.

  • Dynamic Label Creation: Users can create and add labels on the fly, facilitating better organization and identification of parts.

  • Enhanced Editing Capabilities: All aspects of a Catalog part can be edited through the same form, including the new functionality to exchange the 3D file, which enhances flexibility and responsiveness to changes.

This new form replaces the less efficient workflow of adding parts through the basket and provides a centralized, user-friendly interface for all your Catalog part management needs. Whether creating a new part or updating an existing one, this tool is designed to provide a seamless, integrated experience, reducing the complexity and time spent on part management.

Expanded Project Sharing Capabilities for Sharees and Admins

We are pleased to announce an important enhancement to our project sharing capabilities within our platform. Now, both sharees and admin users have expanded roles in managing and sharing projects, ensuring continuity and flexibility in project administration.

For Sharees:

Sharees now also have the ability to share projects with other users directly from the project detail view. This new functionality allows sharees to manage project responsibilities effectively, especially in scenarios where the original project owner is unavailable due to leave or illness.

For Admin Users:

Admins can now add sharees to a project through the Admin Panel. This feature ensures that projects are always covered by at least one responsible party, providing a reliable fallback when a project owner becomes unavailable.

Quality Management & Machine Connection

New Order Status Filter and Column in the Parts List

On the MES Parts List we have given the Order Status its own column. Before, order number and status were conjoined in a single column. In addition, users can now filter the parts list for order status which increases the visibility of parts that need attention.

Enhanced Scheduling Flexibility for Processing Workstations

We're introducing a new feature to enhance scheduling flexibility for Processing and Other categorized workstations, allowing the same part sequence to be scheduled multiple times on the same workstation. This update optimizes production workflows that involve multiple processing steps on a single machine.
