Part Manufacturer
Original part manufacturer, usually OEM, is now extracted from the drawing analysis.Tightness Tolerance
The tightest tolerance on a drawing is the smallest permissible variation from the nominal dimension. It is characterized by a narrow tolerance range, indicating a high level of precision required for that dimension.Cage Code
A Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code is a unique identifier assigned to suppliers and manufacturers by the U.S. Department of Defense's Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). It is used internationally in the context of the NATO Codification System (NCS)
Along with extracted data, a Confidence Score is now extracted for dimension. Internal confidence score is given for each extracted measures. Depending on use-case, measures can be discarded if confidence is low. The value ranges from 0.0 to 1.0.
Material Comparison
With the previous release the platformed was featured with a brand new material database made of 1,200+ materials and an easy and friendly way how to browse this data. Now available in the 24.6 release the Material Comparison. This new feature allows to compare side by side properties of selected materials (up to 3 at a time). As materials belong to a given technology, this also help indirectly to compare manufacturability options.
Other improvements
For Catalog Admins - Removal of "Add to Catalog" Button from Basket
With the major upgrade of the Catalog in 24.4 we provided two powerful mechanisms to add parts to the Catalog. The "Create Catalog Part" button in the Basket has therefore become redundant and is removed with this release.
