Working with Sales Transactions
Sales Transactions allow you to organize your purchasing process into three different stages, Requests, Quotes and Orders. This approach makes a much smoother process for an order from initial negotiation to approval for production.

Description of the Sales Transaction Stages
Request Stage
The Request Workflow is intended to be used to get additional information about how to proceed with placing an order. For instance, you ask a service for a material or post-processing recommendation or get manual pricing.
When you place a request, the 3D files, any current production selections and comments will be sent to the Printing Service. The engineer or business developer can answer any open questions using the platform communication. Once they have added manual prices for the models, the saved result will become one or more Quotes that are saved in the system.

Quote Stage
The Quote Workflow is used for negotiating and confirming orders. If all prices have been provided and there are no questions, this can be done directly by a buyer. The quote can be downloaded as a PDF to compare various options, to get approval from a manager or team member before purchasing, or for confirming production costs while waiting for a final design update.
Once requests have been reviewed by the print service, they can also be changed into one or more quotes for the buyer to approve as full orders. They will be shown in the Quotes Tab in the menu bar. Any approved quotes can be placed as orders. Or edited instead, by clicking Edit Quote to adjust the quantity or change materials before placing an order.

Order Stage
Orders are confirmed production requests which come from buyers who have accepted the price and the terms and conditions. An order can be directly placed from the basket or from a quote which is approved by the buyer. Once an order is placed, it will be paid for using the selected payment method and cannot be adjusted any longer.

Add 3D Model(s) to Begin a Sales Transaction
Drag and drop One or More 3D Models into the window or use the Click to Upload button to choose the files to upload.
The List of Accepted 3D Files shows all file formats that are supported. One of the biggest advantages of our platform is viewing and managing multiple file formats in a single overview.

You can also add additional files directly which are added to the basket as Attachments.
