Est. Finished Date

Calculated production finish date of a part.

The estimated finish date is compared to the target date to give feedback on potential delays of the current production schedule.

If all sequences of a part are scheduled then the Est. finish date is automatically calculated following the formula:

Est. finish date = job_end_time + SUM of all following workflow step durations

This date is automatically re-calculated if jobs or workflow steps are updated.

The Est. Finished Date is not calculated if there is no job or the job is not scheduled.

Target Date

The Target Date describes when the production of a part is expected to be finished.

Under certain conditions the date is calculated automatically - but it can always be overwritten or filled in manually.

For the target date to be calculated automatically, the following needs to be true:

  • all sequences of a part are scheduled

  • the Target Date is still empty

The calculation of the Target Date is according to this formula:

Target date = job_end_time + SUM of all following workflow step durations

This date is not re-calculated if jobs or workflow steps are updated.
