Uploading 3D File Types
There are over 25 different file formats supported for upload including options for multicolored uploads. You see a list of supported 3D file types below.
As soon as a file is uploaded, you follow the steps for Performing Printability Analysis to see a detailed review of the suitability for 3D Printing.
DISCLAIMER: most parametric file formats support hidden/invisible layers. If a layer is marked as hidden/invisible, its content will not be imported.

1 Vertex/face color and texture support

3 Multi-colored OBJ files must be zipped with their related MTL and (optional) texture file.
4 Has to be uploaded as a zip archive that also contains its referenced part files.
5 Triangle meshes only
6 Only 3D content
A textured 3D file has to be uploaded as a .zip archive which contains the file and the one texture. Supported texture formats are: png, jpg, gif, bmp.
