Sharing Projects
Overview
Sharing a project with another user is a convenient way where it is necessary or beneficial that multiple parties have access to the same project. Example use cases are
you work on one project with colleagues
sharing a quote for approval before ordering
enabling your vacation replacement to see important order status updates
Sharing Projects With Other Users
To share a project
Select one of your projects from the projects list
Click “Share with” in the left pane
Enter the e-mail address of another platform user
Click “Save”
The other person will receive an email notification and can see the shared project in their project list.
A list of all users that a project is shared with is displayed in the project information bar on the left-hand side.
You can only share projects with other platform users. Due to privacy reasons, we do not display a list of all available users.
It is not possible to share projects with users who only have the User Panel Viewer permission, because those users do not have the permission to view projects and individual sales transactions.
For more information see Roles & User Rights - Platform Documentation - Confluence.

Ordering in the name of the Project Owner
When a sharee opens a quote inside a shared project, the sharee can proceed to order that quote in the project owner’s name. In the checkout, the sharee can select the shipping and billing addresses from the list of addresses from the project owner.
