Credit Card Payments via Stripe

Adding a Stripe account to your 3D Service payment methods will enable you to immediately begin accepting online credit card payments from 25 countries around the world. 

Before starting the process, kindly advice your Project Manager that you want to enable Stripe.

 

Setting Up a Stripe Account

If you already have an account, skip this step.

  1. Create a New Stripe User Account

  2. Enter all required information to ensure that your Business Account Will Be Activated

  3. Add your Bank Account Details to have successful order totals directly transferred after seven days.

Activating Stripe Payments

Please first inform your Project Manage or Technical Support if you would like to connect your Stipe account. Once you have received confirmation, please follow the below steps to activate Stripe in your platform: 

  1. Go to the Service Panel > Settings >  Payment Methods > Add Payment Method 

  2. Select Stripe and click Connect to Stripe 

Input your Stripe Credential Information into the form. All this data can be accessed from your Stripe account (API page).

Click Connect Existing Account.

If you see an error, inform your Project Manager that you want to enable Stripe and provide any error messages you encounter during the process.

Verifying a Successful Stripe Payment

Note: currently we do not support testing using test credit card numbers provided by Strip here: https://stripe.com/docs/testing#international-cards We recommend using a real card and test the payment method by charging a small amount, which can be refunded from Stripe.

The last step is to ensure that payments are being successfully processed and transferred between the two platforms. This can be easily accomplished using the “testing sandbox” from Stripe.

  1. Login to your Stripe Account.

  2. Ensure that the Payment Testing in the left menu by clicking View Test Data.

  3. Login to your online 3D Marketplace.

  4. Place an Order, select credit card as the payment method and input “Dummy Data” for the credit card using the Stripe test information.

  5. Return to your Stripe reporting at https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/payments and Verify that you see the payment.

  6. Deactivate the Test Data to begin accepting credit card payment for live order
