Handling Attachments on Sales Transactions

When creating requests, quotes or orders, customers can include attachments such as technical drawings to provide additional information. These attachments can be viewed and downloaded by Service users in the Service panel.

Customers have the opportunity to upload attachments linked to individual parts, or linked to an entire sales transaction.

Attachments with Restricted Access for Internal use

Service users can upload internal-use attachments to transactions, which are not visible to customers.

Uploading Restricted Attachments

To upload an attachment with restricted access,

  1. Drag and drop an attachment onto the upload field.

  2. In the pop-up, select 'Restricted' to ensure internal-only visibility.

  3. The attachment will be uploaded and visible only to Service Panel users.

Correcting Visibility Errors

If an internal attachment is accidentally uploaded as public, follow these steps:

  1. Use the trash icon to delete the mistakenly public attachment.

  2. Re-upload the file, ensuring to select the correct visibility setting.
