The Scheduler view

Overview

The scheduler view of the Agile MES allows production planners and technicians to monitor their entire shop floor machinery in one centralized view. Existing workstations as well as their past, current and scheduled print or post-processing jobs can be monitored live, providing vital live-data on the current progress and status of every performed job.

The scheduler provides access to current job time estimations, materials installed on each workstation, and live machine events such as status updates, warnings, error messages, and notifications.

The process of job creation can be triggered in the Schedule view in two different ways:

  1. By clicking Add Job in the upper right corner, the user is taken to an empty job creation screen, similar to starting job creation from the Job List

  2. By clicking in a row of the scheduler, the job creation mask opens with the workstation, and starting time pre-populated according to where the user clicked in the Gantt chart.

Reserved time slots

The Scheduler can also show and plan reserved time slots on workstations such as planned downtime for machine maintenance.
