Schedule View

Overview

The Schedule view in Agile MES offers production planners and technicians a comprehensive, centralized interface to monitor shop floor machinery. This view provides real-time insights into:

  • Workstations: Displays all machines on the shop floor.

  • Job Status: Tracks past, current, and scheduled print or post-processing jobs with live progress updates.

  • Vital Data: Includes job time estimations, installed materials, and live machine events such as status updates, warnings, errors, and notifications.

The scheduler provides access to current job time estimations, materials installed on each workstation, and live machine events such as status updates, warnings, error messages, and notifications.

The process of job creation can be triggered in the Schedule view in two different ways:

  1. By clicking Add Job in the upper right corner, the user is taken to an empty job creation screen, similar to starting job creation from the Job List

  2. By clicking in a row of the scheduler, the job creation mask opens with the workstation, and starting time pre-populated according to where the user clicked in the Gantt chart.

Job Creation

The Schedule allows users to initiate job creation directly within the view using two methods:

  1. Add Job Button

    • Click Add Job in the upper-right corner to open an empty job creation screen.

    • This process is similar to starting job creation from the Job List.

  2. Clicking in the Schedule

    • Click on a row in the Gantt chart to open the job creation form.

    • The workstation and start time are automatically pre-filled based on the clicked location.

Job Status Colors

Jobs in the Schedule are color-coded based on their current status, allowing users to quickly identify the state of each job:

  • Purple: Scheduled

  • Blue: Started

  • Green: Finished

  • Red: Scrapped

  • Grey: Reserved time (e.g. maintenance work)

Note: When Machine Connectivity is enabled, a transparent blue bar indicates the detected job's start and end time compared to the scheduled time. Once the job is completed, the transparent bar turns green, and the scheduled bar disappears.

Reserved Time Slots

The Schedule also supports planning and displaying reserved time slots, such as scheduled machine maintenance. Reserved time slots appear directly in the view, enabling efficient scheduling and resource management.

Configuring Reserved Time Slots

To configure reserved time slots for a workstation:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Workstations.

  2. Select your workstation (e.g., ProX 950).

  3. Go to Reserved Time and set the desired time slots.
