External Part Reference

In order to be able to find parts for ordering in an easier way, we introduced an external part reference field to store the par number, ID, or URL referencing this part in a third-party system.

Machine Connectivity

  • Air-gapped Aggregator docker containers are now able to send machine data to the MES.

  • Automatically monitor all machines reachable from the provided topic filter in the Ford MQTT broker.

General improvements

Organization product options are deprecated

We deprecated the possibility of overriding Material Names per organization ("Organization Product Options"). This means that new Organization Product Options can not be added but existing ones stay intact.

Instead of using that option, customers are advised to do the required modifications to materials directly in the material database (Admin Panel > Products). If you are on a dedicated cloud or on-prem server, then you can freely change the names of materials.

Customers on our Shared Production server, however, cannot change the names of materials since the list of materials is global and shared by all customers on the same server. If you would like to maintain the possibility of changing material names, please reach out to our Customer Support team.

In the upcoming months, we plan to help customers migrate data from Product Options to the material database and remove "Organization Product Options" entirely.

We think that this change will make the software simpler to configure and expect a higher overall quality.

Bug fixes

ERP

  • We fixed a bug in the checkout, that allowed users to proceed without confirming the terms & conditions.

  • On order notes (PDF) we now display the price of the material cost per line as well as displaying the currency symbol next to the post-processing price.

  • When deleting an order status, then all previous order statuses were automatically deleted as well. This is not the case anymore.

  • When cloning a part in the basket, the Preferred Due Date was not cloned. This has been fixed.

MES

  • We fixed a bug causing the date-time-picker to error out after a user selects NOW having prior deleted the time input manually.

  • We change the unit representation of kilograms in our material inventory from KG to kg.

  • The assignee was sometimes missing on Part Production Sheets. This has been corrected.

  • We fixed an issue that caused slow performance generating Part Production Sheets when the name contained Chinese or Japanese characters.
