Tax-exempt flag for US customers using TaxJar

Admin Panel > Users > User Profiles

You can set individual customers of yours as tax-exempt. Customers who are set to tax-exempt will not be charged US Sales tax when an invoice is created. In addition, setting a validity date lets you specify how long the tax-exemption should be applied, e.g. when your customer’s tax exemption certificate is not valid indefinitely.
