Defining Part Categories

The PLM can work with different types of part categories. Each part has one particular part category assigned. You are free to adjust the existing categories or to add new ones.

A part category has a form assigned that decides what kind of data is available or required for a part of such a category. A form is a collection of part properties with a certain layout. Part properties are defined separately and can be re-used by multiple forms.
