Assemblies
It is well known that On-demand manufacturing of Spare Parts can save Millions of costs per year. The potential is even higher if you consider assemblies in addition to single parts printing. Our new 3YOURMIND version 22.0 supports the screening of complete inventories to identify potential AM use cases within assemblies and single parts. Many customers showed around 30% of the use cases are assemblies and a lot of them have the potential for consolidation.
Having all potential use-cases in one 3YOURMIND inventory with single parts linked to their assemblies, it increase the AM potential by min. 10-15% which equals additional €1M saving potential as an average per site per year. In addition it helps customers learn more about their products and share this knowledge within the 3YOURMIND software across the organisation.
Read more in our documentation how to indicate if a part belongs to an assembly, connect to the part children & parents and view this in the part list & part detail page.
Unit-specified scoring

ERP
Filter-by-Technology shows only relevant data for order coordinators
We now show the printing technology on Project/Request/Quote/Order tables and allow to filter by that column. This allows order coordinators who distribute work by technology to see only what is relevant to them.
For more information on available columns see Reviewing Active Offers by Stage .
Easy access to customer contact details for order coordinators
To facilitate contacting customers we now display additional customer information directly on Request/Quote/Order documents. This saves order coordinators from entering the User Directory on the Organisation Panel to look up contact information. The displayed information is as follows:
Request, (unfinalized) Quotes: Name, Company, Email
(Finalized) Quotes, Orders: Name, Company, Email, Telephone
For more information see Reviewing Active Offers by Stage | Customer Contact Information
Faster processing of orders through right-click open-in-new-tab

Advanced Forms Framework for ERP+MES adds configuration options
We have brought the more sophisticated Forms framework from PLM into the ERP. This allows for additional structuring and display of Part Requirement Forms as well as the easy arrangement and re-ordering of elements. All existing Forms have been migrated automatically to the new framework.
For exhaustive information see https://3yourmind.atlassian.net/l/c/0Nk41QD4 and its subpages. More updates are to be expected in this area in future releases.
Part Requirements visible in the Catalog
Catalog users can now see Part Requirements on the detail view of each part. All information is now visible at one glance and available before adding parts to a basket.
Column “Description” is now displayed on the overview table in the Catalog
The description column provides important additional information for users to identify the right part. We now show this information also in the overview table. This saves users from opening part details to see the description.
Custom order note PDFs can now include extra fields of custom payment methods
On PDFs such as quotes or invoices Services can now include any detailed information needed relating to custom payment methods. We have added variables to provide custom field names and values.
For more information, contact our Customer Success team.
MES
Job documentation forms
Additionally to part requirements, forms configured in the admin panel can now also be used for job documentation. Hereby filling the missing pieces for production documentation.
Job documentation forms follow the same configuration as part requirement forms: Creating and Configuring Part Requirements
Once a form is configured, it must be assigned to a workstation to be interpreted as a job form. The assigned form can then be used to document job parameters, material testing results, or checklists for workstation preparation on job detail.
Hiding workstations from the scheduler
We are introducing the option to hide workstations from the scheduler view in the workstation settings.
Order status in MES
The status and color of a parts order are now displayed in MES wherever the order number is shown. Providing vital information for the shop floor at a glance.
Increased part list length options
The MES part list now has the additional option to display up to 100 results in its table. Increasing the maximum amount of parts to be bulk-updated directly from the part list by a factor of x4.

Adding a Service logo was not possible in the Service settings. This bug is now fixed.
When editing orders in a currency different than the service currency, the correct amount of the shipping price was not preserved. The shipping price behaves now correctly.

We have fixed a number of issues preventing the proper updating of material price formulas.
In the case of a large number of projects, the filters on the project overview may lead to a timeout of the project overview page. We have added a possibility to disable those filters. See Projects and Project Overview | Performance of the filters on the Project list.

Creating quote PDFs as a Service Panel - which was temporarily not possible - now works again.
When downloading STL files with Japanese characters in the filename, the Japanese characters are now preserved correctly.
Under certain conditions post-processing prices were shown as zero on quotes although they were calculated correctly in the background. The prices now show correctly again.
We fixed a number of issues in the Create Quote form where the order of post-processings was changed randomly, the prices did not show as expected or the form validation claimed that Part Requirements were not filled out although they were.
A bug prevented Services from creating orders or quotes with unpublished materials. This is fixed.
We fixed an error 500 that prevented the Edit Quote or Create Order form from loading.
The admin panel setting “Disable billing address” did not work for Create/Edit Order in the Service Panel. It works now and orders can be created without a billing address.
