New version 22.3 features an updated workflow configuration in MES, as well as multiple stability improvements to the overall platform.

PLM

Status change and notification for assignee

You can now assign specific rights to the assignee of a part. Depending on the status of the part, you can decide if the assignee can view, edit or delete the part. This will also allow you to better manage notifications. For example, you can decide to notify only author and assignee of a part, without notifying all the AM Experts.

Improved number formatting in the Overview of the Part List

You can now define the number of decimal places in aggregated functions and it gets multiplied in the frontend by 100 for percentage uses.

Template button available to do .csv batch upload

You can now use the template button in the top right to download a .csv template. This allows you to save time as you know exactly what to be filled.

 

ERP

Catalog in Service Panel enables using Catalog parts in Create Quote and Create Order

The Catalog is now accessible from the Service Panel. This allows for convenient browsing and filtering of the Catalog for Service Panel users.

Any item in the Catalog can be used directly to create a Quote or an Order from the Service Panel reducing delays in the process of communicating with User Panel users.

MES

Reworked workflow configuration

Starting with version 22.3 it will only be possible to create or edit workflows from a list of pre-defined workflow steps. Workflow steps require a step Name and Category (Printing, Processing, Other) as mandatory input.

Introduction of the workflow step categories offers easier analysis of shop floor operations and lays the foundation for smarter (re-)scheduling in production. During workflow configuration, only workstations matching a steps category can be assigned to the step.

Bug fixes

ERP

  • We fixed an issue regarding the truncation of decimal places in number fields.

  • On small browser widths, the basket could disappear completely. This is now fixed.

  • We fixed a bug that prevented ERP-only customers to cancel orders that were already in progress.

MES

  • We fixed a bug that caused the set duration of a job to reset, when moving the job to the next free time slot to resolve a time conflict.

  • A bug was fixed that caused the reserved time drawer to not function properly.

  • A bug was fixed that caused the Last updated timestamp for sequence groups to not update when finishing jobs.

  • A bug was fixed where the wrong download icon was used for downloading attachments.
