Long term support (LTS) Policy
LTS Release means a long term support (“LTS”) release of 3YourMind Software which will have a lifespan of six (6) months from General Availability and will be supported by 3YourMind during this six (6) months period. Installation of a Maintenance Release* does not extend the lifetime of the related LTS Release under 3YOURMIND’s end of life policy. Every 6 months, 3YOURMIND releases a new LTS where all of the developments from the previous 6 months accumulate into one up-to-date, feature-rich release.
For versions that are supported, customers can raise issues via Helpdesk or via eMail. If a bug is discovered, it will be prioritized based on our Bug Fixing Policy and may require you to upgrade to the version which includes the fix
Pace:
LTS Releases are typically released every 6 months.
Usually this happens in March and September. (xx.3 and xx.9)
Features:
LTS Releases includes new features, significant enhancements and/or a major redesign of the software. For detailed information refer to our https://3yourmind.atlassian.net/l/cp/J1t2kBHx
Support:
Supported (LTS) versions receive security fixes as HotFixes. 3YOURMIND uses security scanners to scan for known CVEs. As soon as a critical CVE is found, 3YourMind will release a HotFix within 2 weeks. Each Long Term Support (LTS) version receives for 6 months:
Critical security bug fixes (within 2 weeks as LTS HotFix release)
Critical bug fixes (as LTS HotFix release)
All other (security) bug fixes, whenever possible (as LTS HotFix release). We schedule non-critical bugs according to a variety of considerations
On-Premise
LTS releases are released to On-Premise customers
End of Life Policy
3YourMind supports LTS versions for 6 months after the first major iteration of that version was released (for example, we support 3YD 22.7.x for 6 months after 3YD 22.7.0 was released).
