After analysing and prioritising parts for further Assessment, Prototyping and Qualification, Expert Users can create a (preliminary) AM part Configuration for parts directly on the part detail page.
Starting with version 23.10, the part detail page features a new Production tab, only accessible for AM Expert users when a part enters the Qualification stage. For further details on how to configure your statuses and assign Status types, see here Defining statuses and workflows .
The Production tab and entire AM Part Configuration form is only accessible for Expert users.
The AM Part Configuration form allows users to select a parts required Manufacturing and Post Processing steps. Through our reworked and extended Am Database, Expert users have access to
6 standardised AM technologies
more than 1200 AM Materials, mapped to their respective Technologies and Material Categories
32 standardised Post Processings, partitioned into 4 groups and linked to their applicable Material Categories
The available fields to select an AM Part configuration are all connected, supporting auto-assignment and cascading filtering, allowing users to drill down on their desired AM Material.

Customisation
Our Database allows manual adding for custom database entries to our default list of materials, post processings and technologies, while the available list of material categories is fixed and unchangeable. Also technologies and materials can be deactivated to tailor the available options to reflect your organisations setup. To get further info on how to add custom database entries, see here AM Databases .
