As a Service user, you may want to create Quotes directly for your clients. Or sometimes there is a need to edit an already placed Quote. A single form showing all necessary information in one place makes these transactions efficient and enhances Service capabilities.

Step 7: summary and create quote
You can see the summary of all costs in the summary section. After checking everything is correct, you can click on “create quote” to create your quote. Cancelling the quote creation process loses all entered information.
Edit a Quote
To edit an existing Quote, open the Quote that you want to change. Under More Actions, click on Edit Quote.
The same form as when creating a Quote or Order will load, however, prefilled with the existing Quote information. You can change any Quote detail - except for the customer - and confirm your changes by clicking Save. Additionally, the quote expiration date can be changed directly from the quote detail page without opening the edit quote form.
Editing a Quote creates new revision each time the quote is saved. This is visible through an increment of the internal quote number.
Creating a Quote from a Request
To create a Quote from a Request, open the Request and click Create Quote. This will open a new “Quote from Request” form, pre-filled with all information that was part of the initial Request. To complete the form, the same steps apply as described above in Creating a Quote.
Who can Create or Edit Quotes?
