August, 15th 2019 - This release includes a big update on Post-Processing worklists in the Agile MES
[Agile MES] Dynamic Worklists (BETA)
Worklists display and track all Post-processing activities in the production schedule. The Agile MES automatically creates Dynamic Worklists for each print job, that requires Post-processing. As each part can have an individual workflow after printing, the Worklists are essential for tracking the individual progress.
Learn more about the key functionalities below:
Worklists are Automatically Rescheduled
Every time a Job is moved, added, scrapped & rescheduled or deleted the Agile MES automatically reschedules the parts based on available capacity in your production schedule. In this BETA release your parts are scheduled first-in-first-out. The full release will optimize your production schedule based on the target of each part.
Hint: Deleting a Job removes all the planned Worklists related to it.
Change the Workload of a Worklist
By clicking on a worklist, processing operators can view all parts, that need to be processed on a workstation within one day. This workload can be changed by removing or adding parts from the worklist.
- Operators will remove parts if the workload includes more parts than they can process in a day
- Operators will add parts if they want to prioritize parts from another worklist in the future.
After defining the workload the worklist can be confirmed and the parts are ready to be processed.
Track & Document the Part Progress in Worklists
As Operators process parts, they can document their progress in the worklist. The Agile MES automatically tracks when a part arrived at a workstation so that you can compare the planned arrival and the actual arrival time of a part. A Part can be set to the following statuses:
- In Progress: The processing of a part has started
- Complete: The processing of a part is completed. The part is automatically marked as `arrived` in its following worklist
- Moved to next day: The processing of the part has not started and the part is rescheduled to the next day.
- Scrapped: During the processing, the part was damaged and needs to be reprinted. A new part sequence is automatically created that needs to be scheduled for production.
The part status will also be indicated with Worklist Colors:
- Light Purple: No/some parts arrived
- Purple: All parts arrived
- Blue: Worklist is confirmed
- Green: All parts are completed are moved to next day
- Red: All/some parts are scrapped
