In order to connect the machines, the Network Administrator responsible for setting up the aggregator, needs to know some information:

  1. A list of Printers

  2. An API Token

  3. A Service ID

1. Obtain a list of printers

This can be done by a Network Administrator

For each printer that should get connected, the following information must be knows:

  • Printer Type

  • IP Address

  • Port

2. Obtaining an API Token

This can be done by anyone with access to the Admin Panel

  1. Login to the 3YOURMIND Platform with a user that has access to the admin panel

  2. Go to Users

  3. Click Add User in the top right corner

  4. Enter as username: machine_connectivity (or similar)

  5. Enter any long random password. You won’t need it later.

  6. Click Save and continue editing

  7. Enter a valid Email Address

  8. Click Save

  9. Go back to the homepage of the admin panel

  10. Go to User profiles

  11. Click on machine_connectivity

  12. Make sure that the user is assigned to the correct site / domain

  13. Go back to the homepage of the admin panel

  14. Go to Fulfillment partner

  15. Open the right Fulfillment partner

  16. Add the machine_connectivite user to the list of users

  17. Click Save

  18. Go back to the homepage of the admin panel

  19. Go to Tokens

  20. Click Add Tokens

  21. Select the machine_connectivity user

  22. Click Save

  23. Copy the Token.
    Note that this is sensitive information and should only carefully be shared.

3. Obtaining the Service ID

This can be done by anyone with access to the Service Panel

The service ID is needed for configuring the aggregator.

  1. Login to the 3YOURMIND Platform with a user that has access to the service panel

  2. Visit https://[Your Domain]/api/v2.0/service-panel/services/

  3. Note the “id“ of the service
