Job creation process

The job creation process can be started by clicking Create Job on the job list and schedule page. Further, when clicking directly in the scheduler, the job creation drawer opens with the times and workstation preset, depending on where the user clicks.

Prerequisites:

  1. Workstation created and materials assigned in workstation settings

  2. Workflow created with workstations assigned to the right steps

  3. Correct workflow assigned to parts

Create new Jobs

  1. Click on Create Job

  2. Add a Custom Job Name (if applicable)

  3. Select a workstation from the workstation dropdown

  4. Choose if you want to schedule the job or not

    • Select the planned print start time

    • Set/Adjust job duration

      • Time duration is currently set manually but will be automated in the future

    • Deactivating the Schedule Job toggle lets you create a job without assigning any start time or duration

    • Jobs without times are created and can be found on the job list with status “Unscheduled”

  5. The Agile MES will automatically list all parts available for scheduling in a table, this list includes all parts where:

    • The selected workstation is part of at least one step of the parts workflow

    • The parts required material can be processed by the selected workstation

    • The part has not been processed on this workstation yet

    • The part is not scheduled in a different job during the chosen time slot

  6. Once at least one part is selected, parts can be added by clicking the Add Parts button above the table

    • after adding parts to a job you can adjust the part quantity in this job with the + / - buttons in the quantity columns

  7. At the bottom right, finish job creation by clicking Create Job
