Once your file has beenĀ verified for printability, the platform will help you determine the best material for 3D production. Each part can have its own production selection.

The comparison consists of the following steps:

Compare Materials by Price and Delivery Time

Most often, as an engineer you will know what material you need for your particular application.

  1. Upload a 3D file and Select a Material.

  2. You will see a listing of all services that provide that material along with Price Comparison and Delivery Window.

  3. Select a service.

If you are unsure of which material type is best, you also have the option to Place a Request.

Advanced Material Comparison

  1. Upload one or more models to a basket.

  2. Choose Advanced Comparison.

  3. You will see a listing of all available materials with a listing of Technical Criteria.

  4. You can Sort each Column to organize the information.

  5. Select a material by Clicking on a Material Name.

Adjusting which Columns are Visible

There are probably certain criteria which are most interesting for selecting certain materials. For instance depending on the application the tensile strength might be the determining factor.

  1. Navigate to the Advanced Comparison.

  2. Choose Edit Columns in the upper right

  3. Select or deselect the column names that you would like to view.
