View Part Details and Production Information

On the part detail page you can:

  1. View 3D Model and download optimized or original File version

  2. Upload or review the history of file versions via the More button

  3. Assign a Workflow or edit the currently assigned workflow

    • Edits made to the workflow on the part detail level will only apply to this specific part. The global workflow details are not changed.

    • assigning a workflow to a part will result in the creation of a sequence group with a unique ID and create a visual representation of the workflow steps with the amount of sequences in each step

  4. Export the parts production sheet

  5. See parts and sequence groups current workflow step

  6. Set a parts/sequence groups current status or scrap individual sequences

  7. Move an entire or specific quantity of a sequence group to the next step

  8. Assign employees to this part

  9. See scheduled, current and finished jobs for this part

  10. Set the target date

  11. Redirect to the parts order page by clicking the Order # link

  12. Upload attachments, place instructions or comments on the part detail

If multiple part production sheet templates are available, then you can choose which template to use after clicking “Download Production Sheet”.

Managing File Versions

It is possible to manage multiple versions of a part’s 3d file by adding a new file version or switching to another version.

To manage a part’s file versions go to

More (' ... ') - Manage File Versions

In the “Manage File Versions” menu the following functionalities are available:

  • Upload new File Version
    Upload a new 3d file via drag and drop or by selecting a file from your local files. The newly uploaded file will be set as the Current Version. Uploaded files are converted to .stl if necessary and will be repaired and optimized.

  • Set to Current Version
    Any of the older versions can be set to be the current version of the part

  • Open Viewer
    Opens the 3d Viewer for the respective file version

  • Download Optimized
    Download the repaired and optimized .stl file of this 3d file version.

  • Download Optimized
    Download the repaired and optimized .stl file of this 3d file version.

  • Download Original
    Download the originally uploaded 3d file.

  • Delete Version

  • Click on the trash icon to delete an older file version. The current version cannot be deleted.

Uploading a new file version does not trigger a re-calculation of the price.

Part History

Starting with version 4.10 part updates made in the 3YOURMIND platform are tracked and displayed in a Part history. To access the history of a part, simply switch from the Comments to the History tab on the part detail page.
