View Part Details and Production Information

In order to prepare models quicker and communicate on a part level, all information about the orders and production schedule is available on a parts detail page. The part detail page of every part can be accessed by clicking the part name on the parts associated order, or by simply clicking on the parts row in the parts list.

On the part detail page you can:

  1. View 3D Model and download optimized or original File version

  2. Upload or review the history of file versions via the More button

  3. Assign a Workflow or edit the currently assigned workflow

  4. Export the parts production sheet

  5. See parts and sequence groups current workflow step

  6. Set a parts/sequence groups current status or scrap individual sequences

  7. Move an entire or specific quantity of a sequence group to the next step

  8. Assign employees to this part

  9. See scheduled, current and finished jobs for this part

  10. Set the target date

  11. Redirect to the parts order page by clicking the Order # link

  12. Upload attachments, place instructions or comments on the part detail

If multiple part production sheet templates are available, then you can choose which template to use after clicking “Download Production Sheet”.

Managing File Versions

It is possible to manage multiple versions of a part’s 3d file by adding a new file version or switching to another version.

In the “Manage File Versions” menu the following functionalities are available:

Uploading a new file version does not trigger a re-calculation of the price.

Part History

Starting with version 4.10 part updates made in the 3YOURMIND platform are tracked and displayed in a Part history. To access the history of a part, simply switch from the Comments to the History tab on the part detail page.

Part history tracks and displays the following part updates with their individual time stamp and the user carrying out the action:

  1. Part creation in MES

  2. Workflow assignment, unassignment or editing

  3. File versioning

  4. Target date assignment

  5. Part assignee

  6. Uploading and deleting attachments

  7. Editing instructions

  8. Scrapping of sequence groups

  9. Moving sequence groups to another step

  10. Job creation for sequence groups
