When parts belong to an assembly of parts, visualizing these connections can significantly increase the quality of part qualification decisions, towards greater profitabilityIt is well known that On-demand manufacturing of Spare Parts can save Millions of costs per year. The potential is even higher if you consider assemblies in addition to single parts printing. Our new 3YOURMIND version 22.0 supports the screening of complete inventories to identify potential AM use cases within assemblies and single parts. Many customers showed around 30% of the use cases are assemblies and a lot of them have the potential for consolidation.
Having all potential use-cases in one 3YOURMIND inventory with single parts linked to their assemblies, it increase the AM potential by min. 10-15% which equals additional €1M saving potential as an average per site per year. In addition it helps customers learn more about their products and share this knowledge within the 3YOURMIND software across the organisation.
