26.2 - Release Notes
Introducing "Push to Print"
After almost a decade of 3YOURMIND software connecting directly with production machines, we are elevating our IoT machine connection capabilities with the launch of "Push to Print", the Next Level of 3YOURMIND Machine Connectivity.
This new feature allows the 3YOURMIND digital inventory solution to send G-code directly to the machine queue. Initially available for EOS polymer and metal systems, and all UltiMaker machines, "Push to Print" eliminates major risks associated with manually copying G-code files to the printer.
Data Integrity: Manual transfer risks using outdated or incorrect files, compromising qualified Technical Data Packages (TDPs).
Security: Loss or theft of the storage medium (e.g., USB stick) containing the build file is a significant security vulnerability.
Inefficiency: Downloading, transferring, and uploading files is time-consuming and mentally demanding compared to a click-to-print function.
Integrating build files into the software strengthens the Part Inventory's role as the definitive, data-driven single source of truth, enabling a complete Technical Data Package (TDP) based inventory.
What’s New
Native TDP Storage: We now offer the capability to natively store build files and G-codes as Technical Data Packages (TDP).
Expanded Machine Connectivity: Authorized users can now securely push build files directly to printer queues using the "Sent to machine" feature.
New Machine Integrations: We've established connections to EOS Metal & Polymer Systems, as well as UltiMaker machines, with further integrations planned soon.
Benefits
✅ Improved Compliance and Reduced Error: "Send to machine" functionality ensures the correct build file is always used, significantly reducing the potential for human error.
✅ Complete Automatic Audit Trail: The system links the digital order to physical production by logging precisely who printed which part, on which machine, and using which build file.
✅ Secure IP and Sharing: Establishing a trusted digital channel between the TDP and the physical machine lays the groundwork for Digital Rights Management (DRM).
Assemblies
This new feature significantly improves inventory management with dedicated support for assemblies and their components. Users can now easily identify, filter, and order entire assemblies.
What’s New
Parent-Child Relationship: The system establishes a clear parent-child relationship between assembly parts. The prominent display of assembly details further boosts order accuracy and overall efficiency.
Easy to Add: Storing assemblies in the 3YOURMIND inventory is now easier with the new "Import Assemblies" upload feature. This feature uses a simple drag-and-drop process for any CAD files and automatically detects the main-assembly, or "Parent."
Ordering of assemblies or components: Assemblies or individual components can be added directly to an order for immediate, streamlined, on-demand production. For the production of large quantities, the software automatically calculates and multiplies the required component quantities.
Benefits
✅ Streamlined assembly handling, quick searchability, and better inventory organization
✅ End-to-end connected ordering of assemblies & individual components
✅ Ultimately saving time and reducing errors
Autodesk Fusion Plugin
Expanding on the successful Creo CAD Plugin, we are delighted to announce the new Autodesk Fusion Plugin.
This addition empowers Fusion users to seamlessly transfer their designs and associated data directly into their central digital inventory, all within the 3YOURMIND platform.
Benefits
✅ This critical, continuous data flow is essential for rapidly expanding digital inventories, effectively closing the gap previously caused by manual data transfer.
Enhanced Columns in Part Inventory
The core value of Part Inventories is the data it provides to users. With this new release, managing the column visibility on the Part Inventory list is simplified through a dedicated "Columns" dropdown button.
What's New
New "Columns" Dropdown: The new interface groups columns logically, move selected fields to the top for easy reordering, and includes "Save as Default" and "Restore Default" buttons fixed to the bottom of the list.
Prioritized Selected Columns: Currently selected columns move to the top of the dropdown for immediate visibility and allow for easy reordering.
Benefits
✅ Increased Control: Users gain more intuitive and efficient control over the data displayed
✅ Time Savings for Frequent Users: The reduction in clicks and the simplified interface save time.
✅ Better User Experience: Logically grouping columns makes it easier and faster for users to find and select what they need.
Smarter Thumbnails and Preview
We've enhanced the visual identity of parts in Part Inventory by upgrading how 2D drawings and image attachments are displayed. This provides immediate visual context, allowing users to identify parts faster without needing to manually hover over files or examine metadata.
What’s New
Part Preview From Various Sources: The Part Detail page now features a smart previewer. It now displays a thumbnail from any of the potential sources available: 3D file, 2D drawing, image attachment, so that a convenient visual part recognition is always guaranteed.
Smart Thumbnail Generation From Drawings: We now detect the most characteristic element on a technical drawing and generated a zoomed in thumbnail for better part recognition
Benefits
✅ Faster Part Recognition Users can instantly identify parts by sight, reducing the time spent clicking through individual files to confirm a part's identity.
New Dark Mode
We have introduced a fully-integrated Dark Mode to provide a modern, high-contrast workspace that is as easy on the eyes as it is professional. This update goes beyond a simple color swap, featuring a re-engineered visual hierarchy that ensures critical data and action buttons remain crisp and legible in any lighting condition.
What’s New
Adaptive Visual Theme: Users can now toggle to a deep-toned interface designed for focus. By default, the platform now follows your operating system's light or dark settings. However, users can individually opt for their preferred mode.
Branded Navbar Flexibility: Administrators can now fine-tune the look of their platform.
Benefits
✅ Optimal Viewing Comfort By significantly reducing blue light exposure, Dark Mode provides a more comfortable environment for power users and shop-floor operators working in low-light manufacturing settings.
✅ Sleek, Modern Aesthetics The refined dark interface provides a high-tech, professional environment for your daily operations, bringing a sophisticated and modern feel to your digital toolset.
