Managing Parts

Existing part projects can be updated, edited and managed individually from the respective part detail page in the PI platform, or in bulk from the part list view.

Main actions when managing parts are:

  • Collecting further part information, updating part metadata

  • Updating part statuses, moving parts through the workflow

  • Assigning users to parts

  • Connecting components and assemblies

  • Viewing part assessments and creating part reports

  • Configuring parts for prototyping or production

  • Adding configured parts to the Digital Inventory
