Overview
To understand the main metrics enabling to sort, filter and prioritize key metrics used for sorting, filtering, and prioritizing parts within the platform, it is important to understand know what information is considered and how it is processed to get to a determine the final result.
The potential of the part is related to its economic parameters. We evaluate the current part Economic Potential: This metric evaluates the economic viability of a part. It considers factors such as current lead time, cost, and potential savings to conclude if determine whether an economic opportunity arisesexists.
The feasibility is related to the technical parameters. We evaluate the Feasibility: This metric assesses the technical suitability of a part for additive manufacturing. It evaluates part size, material, presence of holes, thin walls, aspect ratio, and support structure for additive manufacturing suitability to determine feasibility.
Priority: The priority of the a part represents is based on a concatenation of the two above metrics. Depending on the result, it is classified as the following:
Highest - The part shows a high business opportunitycombination of economic potential and technical feasibility. Based on the evaluation, parts are classified into the following categories:
Highest – The part demonstrates both high business potential and technical feasibility. The part It should be realisedprioritized for production.
High- – The part shows either a high business opportunity potential or is high technical feasiblefeasibility. The part It should be considered for realisation production but should be requires further assessedassessment.
Medium- – The part shows medium has moderate business opportunities potential and feasibly. The part should be further assessed as data might feasibility. Further evaluation is needed, as some data may be missing.
Low- – The part shows has either a low business opportunity potential or is technical not technically feasible. The part It should be put on - hold.
Very Low - – The part shows a has both low business opportunity potential and is technical not feasibilitytechnically feasible. The part It should be rejected.

The priority is based on the feasibility and the potential of the part. Highest and high priority are to be focused on by the user. In the case that data is missing, for example a part has an excellent potential but the size/material are missing, leading to unknown feasibility, the part is not discarded. The platform encourages to fill in the missing information to completely evaluate the part and obtain its priority. |
