Setup

To connect AM machines to the Agile MES it is essential to establish a stable connection between the software and the printers.

Tip

Steps to connect machines:

  1. Gather a list of printers to connect to (IP addresses, ports, printer types)

  2. Identify a Network Administrator capable of installing and maintaining the Aggregator in the printers' network

  3. Provision a hardware device for the Aggregator and include it in the printers' network.
    (See System Requirements). The Hardware Device must run 24/7.

  4. Create a Machine Connectivity User and generate a Token

  5. Lookup the Service ID

  6. SetUp and Configure the Aggregator

  7. Connect the machines in the MES
