Geometry information about a part is an essential input to conduct AM assessment. Up to now, these pieces of information had to be specified manually for each part, which required additional preparation work before starting analysing analyzing the parts set.
With release https://3yourmind.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/resumedraft.action?draftId=1629913092, the geometrical characteristics of a stl file are automatically retrieved and fed into the scores computation. This saves time when creating a part and reduces the risk of errors when entering manually the geometrical values.
Automatic display of 3D file properties within the part detail page
As of our release 23.7, CAD model properties are seamlessly integrated into the platform's Part Detail page. This ensures that pertinent CAD model properties are now automatically populated within the corresponding part detail. This reduces the work stemming from manual data input and informs the user on CAD model properties.
